Current and Upcoming Classes (Taichung)

We currently have a few places available for the following classes. 

Places are limited to maximum of 6 students.

Please note that we do NOT have any regular classes in Taipei. We are based in Taichung. 

We do, however, offer classes via Skype for students who are unable to make it to Taichung, or if students move to another city. (See the bottom of this post for more details about Skype classes.)

IELTS Writing and Speaking - TOPICS

Sunday 2pm-5pm (Taichung)    Teacher : James

Each class is themed around a different topic in the IELTS test.

Each 3 hour class includes:

• Topic Vocabulary
• Speaking Practice / Topic Discussion - Essay Ideas
• Writing Tips and Strategies
• Writing Homework Assignment (Task One & Two)

IELTS Writing and Speaking - QUESTION TYPES

Wednesday 6.30-9.30pm (Taichung)   Teacher : James
We focus on different question types and how to answer them in both writing and speaking (all parts covered).

Each class includes:

• Speaking Strategies, Practice and Feedback
• Vocabulary and Grammar Focus for each question type
• Writing Strategies for Planning (Task One & Two)
• Writing Homework Assignment (Task One & Two)

ENGLISH SKILLS offers a chance to enjoy learning English. We present a range of interesting topics and engaging activities for you to think and talk about. 

Also included are some light reading and listening activities, including videos, podcasts, presentations and games to get you started.

Prepare for life and study overseas, support your IELTS learning or just have fun and improve your all-round English ability.

Each class includes:

• vocabulary activities
• short reading / listening / video
• simple grammar review / practice - nothing too stressful, we promise!
• conversation activities / discussion / role play
• Optional homework assignment (IELTS students only)
